Will SmartTube/SmartTubeNext be able to play 4k with/without a premium account?

We will see. YouTube didn’t announce how it will block 4k for standard users, but it will hopefully be in a backwards compatible way, at least for a while.

What are the SmartTube alternatives to desktop/browsers?

Just use browser addons like uBlock Origin (adblocker), SponsorBlock, and Return YouTube Dislike

For the more privacy focused: just open piped.kavin.rocks, which has adblocking, SponsorBlock and Return YouTube Dislikes integrated out of the box. The browser addon Privacy Redirect automatically redirects from Youtube to Piped/Invidious (if configured).

Yes, It is still working. However, we cannot guarantee how long it works.

Why Voice search result is empty?

There are some reports that the latest update for “Google app for Android TV” (“Google app” if you own generic tv box) could cause this bug. Deleting the update should fix the problem.

Why I can’t link the app to the phone, when I enter the code, a circle with an exclamation mark appears and nothing happens.

After the latest update, the official YouTube client does not allow you to link third-party applications to it.

What is the difference between vp9 and avc?

The difference is in the codec instructions for image compression. VP9 allows you to show the same image with a smaller stream size. But it is likely to be supported by hardware, because software decoding is too laggy.

Why do we need a pause in AFR at all?
